MangoRV is here to provide the wheels to take you on a great American outdoors adventure.

How do I signup?

Sign up is easy. Go to mangorv.com homepage and click on Signup in the right hand corner. Follow the instructions to complete your profile and introduce yourself to the MangoRV community.

How much does an RV rental cost?

All of the prices and terms for motorhome and RV rentals can be found on mangorv.com catalog. Simply select an RV and enter your departure/return dates. A detailed quote will be displayed.

Do I need a special driver’s license to rent an RV or Trailer?

Any standard US state driver's license is valid to drive or tow recreational vehicles up to 40 feet in length and weighing less than 26000 pounds. Certain states require a Class A CDL for driving recreational vehicles weighing over 26000 pounds. Class C and B motorhomes weigh less than 26,000 pounds. Class A motorhomes may weigh more than 26,000 pounds. It is important to check with each state for special license requirements when renting a Class A motorhome.

Is there a minimum age to drive an RV or motorhome?

All drivers must be at least 25 years of age.

Is there a minimum number of nights to rent an RV?

Please check with the particular RV owner for minimum rental nights. RV owners set their minimum rental nights, and this may change for busy seasons such as summer or major holidays and special events.

Is mileage included in the rental cost?

RV owners determine allowable mileage per rental night, with a fee schedule per mile exceeding allowed mileage. One example is an RV owner allowing 200 miles per rental night and a cost of 40 cents per mile over. It is important to check mileage rules with the RV owner prior to reserving a vehicle. Rarely, RV owners may offer unlimited mileage with the rental. Allotted mileage terms are included in the quote request.

Do you deliver?

Delivery is at the discretion of the RV owner. Delivery is an additional fee. Some RV owners will deliver to a certain radius. It is important to check with the RV owner regarding delivery prior to reserving a vehicle.

Is there a generator fee?

In general, RV owners give 4 hours free of generator usage per each rental night. A charge of $4.00 per hour applies thereafter. Generator usage terms are included in the quote request. Please confirm with the RV owner prior to the start of your rental.

Do you provide bed linens and towels?

Guests must bring their own linens, blankets, pillows & towels. RV owners may provide a package for bedding & linen at extra cost. Please confirm with the RV owner prior to the start of your rental.

Do you provide kitchen & cooking supplies?

Our guests provide all cooking utensils and cookware based upon their family plans. RV owners may offer kitchen packages at extra cost. Please confirm with the RV owner prior to the start of your rental.

Do you offer bike racks?

Some RV owners may offer bike racks at extra cost. Please confirm with the RV owner prior to the start of your rental.

Can I bring pets?

RV owners determine whether to allow pets in their motorhomes. The pet policy is included with each quote. Please confirm with the RV owner prior to the start of your rental if any questions remain.

Can we smoke in the RV rental motorhomes?

RV owners determine whether to allow smoking in their motorhomes. The smoking policy is included with each quote. Please confirm with the RV owner prior to the start of your rental if any questions remain.

What are the pick-up and drop-off times?

Pick-up and drop-off times are determined by the RV owner. This information will be included in your quote. It is important to confirm times with the RV owner prior to the start of your rental.

Drivability, Mileage and Campsites
What kind of gas mileage will we get?

Mileage depends on the size of the motorhome and the driving conditions. Generally, you will get between 6 and 18 miles per gallon. Class A motorhomes average 6 - 8 miles per gallon. Class C motorhomes average 10-14 miles per gallon and Class B motorhomes average 15-18 miles per gallon.

How fast can I drive in an RV motorhome?

Do not exceed 65miles per hour. It is safer to stay within 55-60 miles per hour.

Does the RV motorhome come with a TV, VCR, DVD, stereo or Satellite Radio?

Most coaches offer an AM/FM stereo - some with a CD player in the dash. There is also a TV and VCR inside the RV motorhome. Many units also come equipped with DVD players. Older RV units may not be equipped with satellite radio. Check with the RV owner for specific equipment.

Are there rollout awnings on the RV motorhomes?

Yes. Please check with the RV owner regarding special use rules for rollout awnings.

Are we allowed to travel into Canada (or vice versa)?

US registered RVs may enter Canada and return to the US without problem.

Are we allowed to travel into Mexico?

Absolutely not! Travel into Mexico voids insurance policy and is prohibited.

Do you offer one-way trips?

You must travel round trip unless prior approval in writing is received from the RV owner.

Can I tow my car or boat behind the RV motorhome?

Ability to tow is at the discretion of the RV owner. Please confirm with the RV owner prior to the start of your rental.

How much does it cost to stay in RV campgrounds?

Campground rates vary based on time of year and what facilities they offer. Inquire with the specific campground.

Are motorhomes difficult to hook up to campsite facilities?

Hooking up a motorhome is not difficult. There are a few steps and the RV owner will provide instruction at the time of pickup. If you need assistance while on your trip, campsites are friendly places full of knowledgeable folks willing to assist anyone in need.

Should we have a "Full Hookup" camp site?

Absolutely! Full hookup sites generally provide power, water, a sewage drain and sometimes cable tv connections. This makes camping convenient. Without hookups you are "dry camping" which we recommend only for experienced RV'ers.

What kind of facilities might a campground offer?

Campgrounds differ. A partial list of commonly found facilities would include: electric, water, sewer hook-ups, washer, dryer, swimming pool, playground, BBQ pits, on-site convenience store. Please confirm with the specific campground.

Does the RV have a 30 Amp or a 50 Amp electrical system?

In general, Class A RVs have 50 Amp plug and Class C RVs have 30 Amp plug. Please check with the RV owner for details regarding that particular RV.

Insurance and 24/7 Roadside Assistance
Do you offer insurance coverage?

All RVs rented through MangoRV must have comprehensive collision and liability coverage for the duration of the rental. MangoRV partners with a nationwide RV insurance provider to offer up to $1 million in liability insurance coverage.

How do I qualify for Insurance?

After confirming your rental dates and completing payment, you will be provided a link to complete the insurance process.

Can I use my Auto Insurance Company?

Renters may be able to obtain an RV Rental Insurance Binder for the dates of your rental from your current auto insurance company. It extends your automobile's full insurance coverage while you operate the rented RV. Contact your insurance company to see if your policy offers RV rental binders.

24/7 Roadside Assistance

For your safety MangoRV requires 24/7 Roadside assistance with each rental. There is a nominal cost per day. Roadside assistance covers assistance with vehicle breakdown while on the road.

What does Roadside Assistance cover?

Roadside Assistance covers vehicle breakdown on the road. It covers lockout assistance, towing to the nearest service center, flat tire service, emergency delivery of gasoline, fluid or air and battery service.

How do I get hold of Roadside Assistance when I need it?

Your rental agreement will include a number for the 24/7 Roadside Assistance.

Cancellations and Refunds
How do I cancel my reservation?

To cancel a reservation, contact us on MangoRV platform or via the renter’s dashboard. Cancellation fees may apply. Refer to the cancellation policy under your reservation.

What if I return the vehicle before it is due?

No refunds will be made for early returns, late pick-ups or unused miles.
