  • This event is hosted by Circuit of The Americas and will take place over a three-day weekend (Oct 21-23, 2022) with the official race taking place on Sunday.

How to Get to the Event 
The F1 US Grand Prix in Austin is located at the Circuit of The Americas 

-Access to this location is available via the following means of transportation:

Shuttle: From Downtown Austin, shuttles depart from Palm Neighborhood Park, which is across the street from the Austin Convention Center. The price is $30 for a daily return. Shuttles operate from 8:00am on Fridays and Saturdays and from 7:00am on Sundays.

Driving (RV): The Circuit of The Americas racetrack is located off of the SH130 toll road, which can be accessed from downtown by taking I-35 South to Highway 71 East.

Taxi: The Austin Bergstrom International Airport is located approximately 12 miles east of downtown Austin from the COTA racetrack. Taxis from the airport to the racetrack are about $30. Parking availability for the Grand Prix is dependent on whether you are staying for the day or overnight for this event. Parking during the day is available via Lots A through T. Tickets are available for pre-purchase and recommended for guaranteed seating. RV parking is also available and detailed below in the Section labeled “Where to stay”.

Parking Lots A, B, C, & D

Directions: Take SH130 to FM 812. Exit at FM 812 and travel east to COTA Blvd.

Parking Lots E, F, G, H, & K

Directions: Take SH130 to Pearce Ln. Exit at Pearce Ln. and travel east to Kellam Rd. Turn right on Kellam Rd. and travel south to COTA Blvd.

Parking Lots L, M & N

Directions: Take SH71 to Wolf Ln. Travel south on Wolf Ln for 3.5 miles to Fagerquist Rd. Turn right at Fagerquist Rd. Travel west on Fagerquist Rd for 3 miles to Elroy Rd. Turn left on Elroy Rd. and travel south to Lots L, M, or N.

Parking Lot T

Directions: Take SH130 (from Austin/San Antonio/Dallas) or SH71 (from Houston/Bastrop) to SH21. Take SH21 to exit FM812 and travel west on FM812 5.5 miles to Lot T.

The Grand Prix in Austin, Texas is a very popular event and tickets move very quickly. To ensure your place, please make sure to pre-purchase your ticket well in advance. Where to stay (RV parking)
RV Parking for the Grand Prix is available both onsite (COTA Camping) and at several nearby locations. 

Onsite RV Camping (also called Circuit Of The Americas Camping)

RV camping is available along the racetrack between Turns 11 & 12 from COTA Blvd. The amenities provided for onsite camping are the following: 50/30-Amp Full Hookups, Restroom & Laundry, Wi-Fi & Cable TV, Gated Pool, Children’s Playground, Trackside Access, Observation Deck, General Store, Picnic Tables, and a Manicured Ground. It is recommended to book your RV camping spot at least a day before the event commences and at least a day after the event finishes to avoid traffic/delays.

Austin East KOA Holiday

-Austin East KOA Holiday is an RV campground located in Austin, Texas and 15-minute drive south of the COTA racetrack. This RV campground is open all year round and provides several amenities. The amenities provided at this campground are the following:
